The interview includes Fleming's personal experiences about being a B-24 navigator in the European Theater during World War II, his education at Kansas State University, enlisting as an Aviation Cadet in the Army Air Forces, navigator training, bomber transition training, his assignment to Pantanella Air Base, various missions to Austria and Rumania, fighter escorts by the Tuskegee Airmen, and raids against oil refineries and marshalling yards. Fleming also talks about enemy flak and fighter opposition, his return to the States after fifty-one missions his crew's pet dog, correspondence with his wife, and his postwar business career.

Interview with Effie McQueen from Marshall, Texas. McQueen discusses her childhood and education, attending North Texas State University, participation in civil rights activism, getting the streets of south Denton paved, Quakertown, employment and discrimination, her church involvement, the Denton County Courthouse, and reflections on the town. In appendix is a photo of the Denton County Courthouse and one of the Den County Confederate Memorial.

The interview includes Ellis' personal experiences of employment with his father, Frank Ellis, in the general store. Ellis talks about his family background, effects of the Great Depression in New Hope, Texas businesses, food market opening, business operations during World War II, his employment as a feed salesman, general store advertising, his father's use of peddling wagon, Dallas fair and Mesquite trade day, and retirement.

Interview with Evelyn Brown, Vietnam War-era veteran of the US Navy, as part of the Tarrant County War Veterans Oral History Project. The interview includes Brown's personal experiences of childhood and education in Pennsylvania, attending nursing school, enlisting in the Navy Nurse Corps, and being involved with veterans organizations. Additionally, Brown discusses her coming out experience, her assignment to facilities in Florida, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, Camp Lejeune, N.C., and Quantico, Virginia, her decision to leave service upon assignment to USS Sanctuary, a hospital ship stationed off the coast of Vietnam, and her opinions regarding the "don't ask, don't tell" policy.

Gonzalez discusses his education, growing up during the civil war, having his appendix removed, his brother's involvement in the war, attending medical school, transition to law school and working as a journalist, moving to the US and attending UNT, work with the Dallas Magazine, his marriage, and revisiting El Salvador.

Interview with Fred Agnich, businessman and member of the Texas House of Representatives from Dallas, Republican. The interview includes Agnich's personal experiences about being a member of the 66th Legislature. Agnich talks about his relationship with Governor William Clements, appropriations, tax relief, the Peveto bill, consumer legislation, "Killer Bees," and the split primary.

Interview with former Speaker of the Texas House of Representatives Fred H. Minor, an attorney from Lewisville, Texas. The interview includes Minor's personal experiences as a member of the Texas House of Representatives and Speaker of the House, 1931-33, as well as funding for highway construction and his philosophy concerning functions of Speaker of the House.

In the interview, Blanton discusses his experiences and personal views as a member of the Sixty-first Legislature. He also expresses his opinions on issues including his personal political philosophies, one-year versus two-year budgets, the Caveness Plan, social legislation, the establishment of the University of Texas at Dallas, the creation of new four-year colleges, unrest on current college campuses, revenue legislation, beer and liquor lobbies, and person legislation. He also comments on Governor Preston Smith.

The interview includes his personal experiences in World War II as a B-17 co-pilot with the 8th Air Force in the European Theater, his childhood in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, enlistment in the U.S. Army Air Forces in 1943, preliminary training in Tennessee, Alabama, Missouri, Arkansas, and Texas, his active service with the 379th Bomb Group in Kimbolton, England, combat experience in 35 missions, return to the U.S. and continued military service as a flight instructor in Lakeland, Florida and Wichita Falls, Texas, as well as the return to civilian life, marriage, dental school under the G.I. Bill, reenlistment in the Air Force as a dentist, his deployment to Korea, his discharge from the Air Force, and the establishment of his dental practice and experiences since retirement.
