[Ada Francis Brake on tricycle]
Photograph of Ada Francis Brake, wearing a dress and bonnet, sitting in a tricycle. The front wheel of a vehicle is visible beside the child. A house with a porch is visible in the background. The names Ada Francis Break [sic], Miss Hallis and Aunt Retta are written on the reverse of the photograph. Based upon the names written on the back and the mountains in the background, we presume that the child is Ada Francis Brake who was born March 21, 1929 in El Paso, Texas to Eldon Nix Brake and Lucille Davis. They lived at 2506 Copper Ave. in El Paso, which was near the base of the Franklin Mountains which can be seen in the far left of the photograph.
