Photograph of a cross in front of the fenced-off area that the Branch Davidian Compound was previously located. The cross is shorter than the fence and simple in design, a flat carving standing in the ground with flowers placed on either side of it. To the left of the cross, about four feet away, is a small pile of irregularly shaped stones topped by two flat, rectangular blocks placed alongside one another. Grass grows in clumps around the base of the stone pile and the cross. To the right cross, two or three feet back, is a small wooden object resembling a stool or backless chair.
