Letters between Dr. Meyer Bodansky, Dr. Carl Lovelace, and Dr. Joseph L. Johnson, dated from October 14, 1940 to November 12, 1940. The letters concern Dr. Bodansky's visit to Boston, Massachusetts with his organization, The Texas Club of Internists. The letters include an invitation from Dr. Lovelace to Dr. Bodansky to attend a meeting while in Boston and a thank-you letter from Dr. Bodansky for the invitation. There is also a letter from Dr. Johnson that expresses his appreciation for Dr. Bodansky's future and past trips to Ann Arbor, Michigan and a response from Dr. Bodansky. There is handwriting and hand-drawn graphs on the back of the last letter from Dr. Carl Lovelace, who is from the Amicable Life Insurance Company.

Young, Chairman of the General Research Committee of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, and Dr. Meyer Bodansky, also a Chairman of the Chemistry Division of the committee. The second letter, which is dated October 1, 1940, concerns the decision of the recipient of the Ward Burdick Award, which the committee decides on. The letter also discusses open plans for a scientific exhibit in the summer of the following year. The first letter, which is dated October 5, 1940 is a response from Dr. Bodansky in regard to the previous letter.

It inquires about a job that Dr. Bodansky might refer him to. The letter goes into detail about Dr. Heller's areas of research interest and concentration, as well as background on some of his experiences and educational history. The first letter is a response to Dr. Heller, and is dated August 29, 1940. The letter requests more details about what Dr. Heller wants to do and what kind of job he is looking for.

Letters between Dr. Meyer Bodansky, the Director of Laboratories at the University of Texas, and Mrs. C. C. Poindexter, whom Dr. Bodansky is advising on her ailments through mail. The second letter, which is handwritten from Mrs. Poindexter and dated August 26, 1940, updates Dr. Bodansky on her progress concerning her health. The first letter, which is from Dr. Bodansky and dated September 19, 1940, is a response to Mrs. Poindexter's note. Dr. Bodansky assures her that he would like her to keep him updated on her health and condition.

Letters between Dr. Meyer Bodansky and Dr. Ford K. Hick, dated August 20, 1940 and August 29, 1940. The second letter, which is from Dr. Hick, commends Dr. Bodansky on the book he published. The letter includes a table of research done by a Master's student who recently graduated and did his thesis over the topic. He informs Dr. Bodansky that the research has not been published. The first letter, which is a response from Dr. Bodansky, thanks Dr. Hick for his congratulations.

Letters between Dr. Meyer Bodansky and James B. Hyndman, dated from May 16, 1940 to September 27, 1940. The letter that is dated May 16, 1940 is an invitation to Dr. Bodansky from Dr. Hyndman to be a guest speaker at the Texas Society of Medical Technologists annual Convention in October of the same year. The letters remaining discuss the details of the content of the lecture as well as the reimbursement of travel expenses. The last letter that is dated September 27, 1940 from Dr. Bodansky explains that he will not be able to attend the convention.

In the second letter, which is from Dr. Pilcher and dated October 8, 1940, Dr. Pilcher inquires as to whether Dr. Bodansky knows of any candidates for an open position as a technician at Terrell's Laboratories. The first letter, which is dated October 10, 1940, is a response from Dr. Bodansky. In the letter, Dr. Bodansky recommends one potential candidate for the job opening. He also expresses his desire to work with Dr. Pilcher, and asks if he would want to submit a research paper to be presented at an upcoming conference.

Letters between Dr. Meyer Bodansky and Dr. John Marshall, who is from the Medical Center of the College of Dentistry at the University of California. The last letter, which is handwritten by Dr. Marshall, informs Dr. Bodansky that he has forwarded eight reprints of articles that deal with dental pathology. Dr. Marshall also informs Dr. Bodansky that he and his students enjoy and use several of his books. The first letter is a response from Dr. Bodansky; it thanks Dr. Marshall for the forwarding of reprints and for his kind words of encouragement.

Spies, expresses his appreciation that Dr. Meyer Bodansky and his wife attended the recent meeting of the Philosophical Society in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Spies regrets not speaking to Dr. Bodansky at the meeting. In the second letter, Dr. Meyer Bodansky reports his anticipated absence from his job at the University of Texas School of Medicine to the Dean.

The first letter, which is a memorandum from Dr. Spies, thanks Dr. Bodansky for his sufficient response.
