Beyond the archway, the walkway it sits on extends into the distance a short way before splitting into three paths that all lead up to the Denton County Courthouse. Large green trees occupy grass growing around the paths. The courthouse itself is a large multi-floor building with rows of rectangular windows, stone bricks walls, and vaulted domes at each of its corners and atop the clocktower on its roof.
