A letter to Jack Davis, Dean of Unversity of North Texas' School of Visual Arts, from Marilyn Martin, Manager of Grant Contracts and Evaluations at the Texas Commission on the Arts, in regards to an attached contract that must be signed by Phillip C. Diebel or the expenses for the project will not be incurred until it has been signed by both parties. The contract goes into the terms and conditions of the agreement between both parties.

The contract is split into six sections. Section 1 establishes the parties in the contract, TCA and UNT. Section 2 is the equal opportunity statement. Section 3 is the contract period. Section 4 is the obligations of service provider, UNT. Section 4 also states that UNT will produce an evaluation report within 30 days following the termination of the contract. The summary describes all that had transpired at the DBAE Leadership conference, beginning with a speech from the Director of Getty Education Institute for the Arts, Leilani Lattin Duke. The context of the summary is positive, the recommendations from the conferences' discussion are being used by the Education Institute to inform long-range plans for educational reform, taking arts education into the next century.
