A letter written to Dr. E. S. James, Editor of The Baptist Standard, from T. N. Carswell, dated January 10, 1958. Carswell discusses the attached editorial written by James, "Down with The Baptists" and addresses an inference that he finds unclear: "that our Baptist schools are in error when admission is granted to non-Baptists, and in admitting Baptists whose church record is amiss". Canipe; condemnation of students on any Baptist campus participating in unchristian demonstrations then presenting the theory these students are not Baptists which stems from schools accepting applicants from other denominations.
