A letter written to Uncle Norwood [T. N. Carswell] from Annie, Jacksonville 5, Florida, dated August 6, 1946. Annie advises that Eula suggested she send Margaret Anne's address to Carswell in order that he might see her while he was in New York. She talks about liking her work at the Internal Revenue, advises that Bob is fine and asks about Carswell's Travel Agency.

The Alabama Board advises that the request was made to the Florida authorities to investigate a transfer from Texas. Stephens advises regarding a reply from Florida and gives instructions for Subject No.59,311 to report. The reverse side includes inked stamp; RECEIVED 1957 JUN - 4 AM 3:11 BOARD OF PARDONS AND PAROLES.

A letter written to Mr. T. N. Carswell, Chairman, Committee on Americanism, Parramore Post No. 57, American Legion, Abilene, Texas, from Ralph Davis, Executive Secretary to the Governor, State of Florida, dated December 17, 1941. Davis explains that due to the heavy demand upon the time of the Governor since the American declaration of war against the Axis powers there has been no time for the Governor to answer but confirms that he will continue to hold the letter for the Governor's attention.

Carswell expresses his appreciation for the card hoping Ray Carswell's visit was pleasant then describes his own trip to Virginia to where he carried Mother and Peggy Anne to spend the summer.

Carswell expresses their grief regarding the death of Worth hoping that his brother Allen was already there. They would not be able to go but to phone or wire anything she needed and was praying that God bless, comfort and keep close to her.
