Two large patch pockets at front. Center back closure with 5 large circular self-covered buttons, bound buttonholes, and two hidden snaps at collar. Opening stops 14" from lower hem. Lined with beige silk crepe. B) Slip of beige silk crepe. Mid-length. Wide shoulder straps with square neckline. Center back zipper closure with hook & eye. Combined designer's/retailer's label sewn inside at back near hem, above split: "Neiman-Marcus Dallas / Traina-Norell".

Child's dress of white lightweight cotton organdy. Knee length; short puffed sleeves with ruffled lace edging. High round neck with ruffled lace edging. Skirt gathers at natural waist; belt of red velvet across front has large one inch buttons at either end that button onto white organdy belt pieces that tie in the back. Center back buttons down to waist with four buttons. Full skirt has four inch wide hem with built in organdy crinoline. Apron attached at waistline in front has ruffled lace trim and lace ribbon sewn across the middle; below this lace the bottom of apron has embroidered flowers (white daisies with yellow centers, red flowers with yellow centers, blue flowers, multiple shades of green leaves and stems). Matching embroidery on bodice from waist to yoke; yoke seam is covered by lace ribbon. Combined designer/retailer label at back neckline: "Made Expressly for / Neiman-Marcus / by Helen Lee"

Cocktail coat of pink silk gazar. Knee-length with bracelet-length sleeves with under-arm gussets and stand-away collar. Center front opening with 3 circular pink plastic buttons with bound buttonholes. Two front welt pockets. Lined in pink silk. Designer's label at center back neckline: "Balenciaga / 10, Avenue George V. Paris" Stamped style number behind designer's label: "105669" Main body of coat cut from few pieces of fabric. Center back seam, where bias-cut panels meet, and back panels gather into collar. Front cut "straight grain".

Coat of leopard(?) and mink. Below-knee length coat of leopard fur, with long sleeves. The shawl collar, center front opening, lower hem, and cuffs of the sleeves are edged with black mink. Two slit pockets at front hips. Fully lined in dark cream silk(?) brocade with gold pattern similar to an Indian sari. Embroidered monogram at inside right: "MER". Evening/cocktail dress of black and white satin. Long torso fitted top. Sleeveless, with wide boat neck of black satin. Zipper down the back. Full harem skirt of black, white, and grey striped and dotted silk with one large black satin bow at hip line and another bow of same at the hem of the short, "balloon" style skirt. Designer's label at left inside seam: "Boutique / Christian Dior / Paris" and "Made in France".

Cocktail dress of pale yellow silk chiffon with orange and yellow rose print and attached flowers. Sleeveless; 3/4 length. Fitted bodice has outer layer of chiffon with front rounded neckline and is cut to low V in back with cascade of silk and chiffon flowers at right shoulder and down right side of back. Skirt is full with three layers of chiffon; top layer of same print with next under layer of cream and bottom layer of yellow. Layered chiffon skirt is gathered at waistline to create a full silhouette; mid-length. Attached cummerbund style belt of matching draped chiffon has tie which wraps and folds at front with two wide, fringed ends. Center back double breasted button closure on bodice with bound buttonholes; zipper closure on skirt. Designer's label: "Galanos" Retailer's label: "Neiman-Marcus"

Cocktail dress of black silk brocade with a wide portrait collar and plunging V'ed back neckline; short kimono sleeves cut with wedge shaped gussets; centerback opening secured with five tailored buttonholes and five covered shank buttons supplemented with two hook&eyes at the point of the back neckline; hook&eyes are disguised with a drooping looped bow; horizontal empire seam at bust level with draped fullness over the bust; semi-full, bell shaped, knee-length skirt with deep, turned, bound hem; skirt is darted through the waist, boned inner bodice/bustier of matching black silk brocade; centerback zipper closure with a black silk faille placket secured at the top and bottom with hook&eyes; inner bodice is lined in black silk crepe chiffon; black grosgrain waist stay secured with a single hook&eye; attached, gored, knee-length, black horsehair petticoat with black silk lining. Label located inside right sideseam of bodice lining.

Cocktail dress of black silk taffeta with black trim. Low V-neck front and back, elbow length sleeves. Extremely narrow foundation skirt in "Hobble Skirt" style, with pleated overskirt caught up underneath. The front is decorated with cord decoration, the back is plain. No label found, attrib from Donor's description.

Day dress of gray silk douppoini. Straight silhouette that falls loose in back. Elbow length set-in sleeves. Jewel neckline with placket that runs around neckline and down center front opening with 4 self covered buttons and bound buttonholes supplemented with a snap at the neckline. Street length. Back lined in gray silk. b) Slide belt of white crushed leather with oval buckle covered in self. Belt fits into slits at side seams of dress so that back hangs loose and is belted across front.

Day dress of black silk shantung with white polka dots.

A) Day dress of oatmeal or light brown variegated silk/linen blend(?). Knee-length, coat-style dress with rounded notched collar and center front opening of three large circular "carved" horn buttons with teardrop centers and one non-functioning one at bottom; bound buttonholes. Two hooks and loops at waist. Elbow-length sleeves. Natural waist into which bodice and skirt are slightly gathered into elastic waist. String belt loops. Lined in light tan/dark cream acetate(?). Designer's label at inside back collar: Barney Max / designs ltd. / California B) Belt for dress of tan leather faced with same fabric as dress; 1-1/4" wide. Square buckle covered with same fabric. Former owner's mark on back: 7 Leathers

Daytime dress of red silk linen weave. Street length, daytime dress. Tubular cut dress, sleeveless. Wide attached cape collar that extends over upper shoulders and is edged in self fringe. Two pockets at front near waist, which connect inside garment. Unlined. Retailer's label sewn inside skirt at side seam: "Neiman-Marcus". Original N-M Collection label sewn inside skirt near hem.

A) Cocktail dress of pink taffeta with hand smocked detail and pleated bands. Strapless. Bands of smocking and pleating and ruching are arranged horizontally across bodice and full skirt. Inner bust pads. Some boning. Bodice lined in same pink taffeta, skirt with inner lining layer of white net/tulle. No labels, but attached handwritten tag "Hesloy" or "Heslay" B) string belt of self fabric.
