[Compass saw]
Compass saw that has an upside down G-Shaped handle with two screwed where the blade inserts. The one further away from the blade is 2 cm in diameter and is stamped with H Disston & Sons Philada With a little emblem in the center. The other is 1.2 cm in diameter and is plain. The blade is most likely the original because it has been engraved with the same names.

Embroidered shoes
Pair of shoes of white silk damask with embroidery in green, blue, and pink. Around throat and upper edge is band of green embroidered pine cones(?)and scallop band. At toe is embroidered blossom in pale pink and blue, with trailing branches in greens with leaves in greens and buds in pinks and butterflies in greens, pinks, and browns. Along sides are similar embroidered branches, leaves, buds, and blossoms. Throatline of shoe with black banding. At point of throat is applied 3-dimensional flower of silk ribbon. Inner sole of dark tan leather, insides of shoes lined with pink/beige silk(?). Soles of leather, with built-up or stacked 1 1/4" (3cm) modified louis or opera heels. Stamped inside shoes in red are various marks in Chinese(?), and maker's mark, which is mostly illegible. 24 cm. long; 9 cm. at widest point; 9 cm. high at highest point. Heel: 3.5 cm. (1 1/4") high at axis.

Lace-up boots
Pair of boots or "High Button Shoes" of gray/silver lamé cloth. The shoes, designed with pointed toes rounded at the tips, lace closed along center front with laces 18 holes high. The high heels are rounded at sides and back, tapering to center and flaring back out at base, and are curved at front. They are covered with the lamé fabric on the back and sides. The sole is of tan and brown leather, as is the cap on the heel. Shoes are lined in off-white cloth. Hand-written notation on inside lining, partly illegible: "37 / .... / 911" Measurements: Length: 26 cm Width: 10cm Height: 26cm Heel: 5.5 cm (2") high on axis w/cap

Mourning dress of black silk and lace in aesthetic style. Yoke has triangular shaped overlay of black lace trimmed with double rows of black silk ribbon and black lace ruffles on front and back. Attached gathered sash snaps at center back and has trailing, knotted end. Demi-gigot sleeves with lace overlay from wrist to elbow. Watteau back; slightly trained. Closes at center front with three hidden buttons and five hooks & eyes on yoke; partially attached lining of gray cotton that closes with twenty-three buttons down center front. Reinforced hem.

[Soldering iron]
Soldering iron with a copper plated head, four sided with a pyramid point, with an octagonal body of head. At the back of the head there is a long painted black iron neck that has been inserted into the head. The neck ends in a point. The wooden handle is removable and fits over the pointed end of the neck. It is a turned handle that split in half and been repaired with black electrical tape. There is also metal wire wrapped around the base of the handle where the split originated. Three nails are inserted up into the base of the handle around the hole for the neck.

Strop with a wooden core two padded leather sides parallel to each other, one side is unpadded leather, and the fourth side is inset with a hone. One of the padded sides has a 6 cm hole exposing cotton, same side is missing three nails and is torn.

Velvet hat
Toque style hat of moss green velvet. Draped green velvet crown worked over a stiffened buckram frame. The top of the crown is embellished with an appliquéd filigree of bullion work, gold-tone braid and green and yellow rhinestones. Rolled wired brim of woven yellow, cream and purple silk ribbons accented with black chenille ribbon. The brim is diagonally draped with matching green velvet and moss green silk taffeta ribbon centered with pink, black and yellow stripes. The right front temple of the brim is accented with a cluster of purple and lavender artificial violets. There are two spherical black enameled head hatpins with long tines. Moss green polished cotton lining with drawstring adjustment. Black buckram crown frame. No labels.
