Three names have been provided for the boys but it cannot be stated with certainty to whom they apply. Black, rough patches of paper on the back of the postcard remain on each corner from wherever it was torn out of.

The yard just outside the company is teeming with horse-drawn or animal-drawn wagons. Each wagon is filled with cotton; some of them are covered with a tarp. Additionally, there are a couple of small outbuildings in the leftmost side of the image. The plot of land in the foreground has been used for an unidentified crop.

Accompanying information indicates they are from Danevang, Texas, and are hauling cotton to El Campo, Texas, also in Wharton County. Although some names have been provided, they have not been matched properly to the people pictured. Behind them, there is a train with the Southern Pacific logo and insignia on various parts of its metal frame. Near the back wheel of the wagon is a tightly-packed sack; presumably, one of the cotton bales.

Accompanying information indicates that they Christine and Ingeborg Olsen, but their names have not been matched to their position on the image.

Photograph of an adult man and woman and a baby, who is being held by the man, identified as Pastor John Ravn. They are standing outdoors next to a large bush, behind which there appears to be a house, as the top part of a roof can be seen behind the Pastor. The woman wears a long dress with three-quarter length sleeves and is looking away from the camera to the baby. Pastor John wears a hat, waistcoat, and slouchy pants. The sheet of paper where the photograph has been pasted to informs us that "he came to Danevang 23 May, from Denmark stayed just a little over a year. Went to Hampton, Iowa [sic]." It also lists the name of his spouse, Magdelene Hansen, who may or may not be the woman in the photograph.

Declaration of Intention given to Andrew Jensen from the Bureau of Immigration and Naturalization. Signed in the county of Matagorda, the document declares Andrew's intention to become a natural citizen of the United States. It renounces his citizenship in Denmark and the King Frederick VIII. An embossed seal can be seen on the bottom left corner.

Certificate of naturalization provided to Andrew Jensen after he became a citizen of the United States. Some biographical information is provided as well as additional standard signatures and bureaucratic fine print. There are two stamps on the back of the certificate, both of which appear to be written in Danish.

Discharge paper given to Andrew J. Jensen from the Army of the United States. The document states that Andrew was honorably discharged from his position of mechanic by reason of demobilization. Andrew's physical description follows, along with signatures from a commanding officer. Further biographical information is given on the back. Additionally, a piece of paper has been stapled on the back that was signed by the clerk of the county court in Wharton authenticating the document.

Hand-written and printed document from the United States Army given to Andrew Jensen after a military promotion. At the very top of the document, there is a black and white illustration of an eagle amongst various symbolic elements that make up the particular emblem. It hovers over bold text and is enclosed in a gray cloud-like gray area. The document states that Andrew made the transition to corporal at Camp Travis in Texas. Crease lines can be seen both length-wise and width-wise.

Postcard sent out by the Local Board of Grundy County in Iowa to notify Ejner L. Wind to appear for a physical examination. The front of the postcard gives information about the date of the examination, and also warns Ejner that failure to appear may result in a loss of rights or immediately induct him to imprisonment or military service. On the back of the postcard, there is postage information.

The farm belonged to O. R. Johnson. The actual thresher is on the far right of the image, a large machine with several wheels and a conical pipe on its leftmost side. To the left, there are horses, some being ridden, while others appear to be harnessed to various equipment. Several bales of rice surround them on the floor. Hand-written text on the back of the photograph in blue ink reads: "Threshing rice on O. R. Johnson's rice farm 1 mile east of El Campo Tex. H. J. Berndt. Danevang, Texas. Please return to A. E. Berndt Danevang Tex. CIRCA 1912."

The photograph has been placed on a stiff mat. On the back, there is hand-written text that reads, "Jens H. Berndt about 1910."
