One article is an announcement of Mrs. Weaver's upcoming lecture for the librarians of the Dallas Public Schools; the other is an account of a meeting of the Garden Club held at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Weaver. Seperated from volume, the newspaper clipping is shelved in Object Files, Rare Book and Texana Collections.

Early edition of Heidi by Johanna Spyri. The book is case-wrapped in a blue woven fabric and the text and decorative designs is in gold colored embossing. The spine of the book has a black painted stripe with white writing on it. The front cover illustration is of a black haired girl wearing a blue and pink pinafore over a white shirt standing barefoot in a grassy field. She is hugging two mountain goats in front of her house. In the background are some tree branches and a partly-cloudy sky. The pages the book is open to have illustrations of two girls in bed together and five mountain goats.

Companion Library edition of Heidi by Johanna Spyri. This book is a dual book with the other side being the book Hans Brinker by Mary Mapes Dodge. The cover of the book has a full sized illustration of Heidi standing in a field with her grandfather, petting a goat. The field is full of grass and flowers and is bordered by a fence where beyond is a log cabin. In the background are more fields and mountains. On the spine of the book has the titles of both books on each side and in the center has the Companion Library logo with two children holding a book in one hand and their arms out to each other.

The front cover has an oval design made up of yellow and teal flowers and leaves. Inside of the design is the title and the author's name. On the spine are more flower and leaf designs with the title, authors last name, and publisher's name. There is a black stripe above the publisher's name with white writing on it. On an interior page is a full page illustration of three characters from the book, Klara, Heidi, and Peter walking through a mountain pass.
