Interview with Charles (Charly) Seale, who served with the Department of Public Safety, Highway Patrol Service during the flood of July 17, 1987 near Comfort, Texas. The flood took the lives of ten children. Charles was in the the first responding helicopter involved in the rescue operation and recounts the events and search that followed. Interview with Lois Lorraine Green Shaw and Evelyn Mills Shields who have been friends for 49 years and live on the same street. Lois Shaw moved to Kerrville with her husband. She attended nursing school and worked in the operating room at Sid Peterson Hospital for many years, and later as a geriatrics administrator at a care facility. She is active in her church, St. Paul Methodist, and has served on many community boards. She and her husband Charles (deceased) had seven children. Evelyn Shields graduated from Doyle High School, she worked as therapist at Kerrville State Hospital for 33 years. She enjoys cooking and is active in her church, Mount Olive Baptist. Interview with Wilma Dell Council Teague, a teacher from Kerrville, Texas. Teague discusses her family and her father's furniture store and lumberyard in Kerrville, her experience in the Tivy High School band, her teaching career, and her volunteer work.

Interview with James (Bud) Wright, an entomologist and inventor who has several patents. He received a PhD in Medical Entomology from Texas A&M in 1963 and worked in the field of printentomology. He specialized in neurohormonal mechanisms of metamorphosis and reproduction in economically damaging arthropods. He led the program that led to the eradication of the boll weevil. Married to Judy Wright, the two had a blended family of two sons, two daughters, and many grandchildren. The interview covers his family history, education and research, enjoyment of bass fishing, and ranching of cows and calves in retirement.

Interview with Raul Rafael "Rocky" Hernandez, Jr., a United States Army veteran and Austin restaurant owner from Kerrville. Rocky describes his memories growing up in Kerrville, work at the Huber Bakery, playing football at Tivy High School, being a Ranger in the United States Army, his accident, and starting restaurant with his wife.

Interview with Wayne Edward O'Bryant, who recalls his family history, growing up in Kerrville, Texas, and his career after inheriting his father's café and eventually owning an antique store in the same location.

Interview with Ronald Girard, a veteran of the United States Air Force and post office worker. Girard describes his experiences as a navigator in the U.S. Air Force, participating in experimental tests run by the CIA at Area 51 as a part of the 1129th Special Activity Squad, experience in the Vietnam War, and working as a mail carrier in Kerrville.

Interview with Joyce and Bob Barton. Joyce played stand-up string bass with the Poverty Playboys. She holds a Fine Arts degree and painted, particularly oils. Her work has been exhibited in Kerrville and numerous regional juried shows. She is married to Bob Barton, a lawyer, who served as Assistant County Attorney, County Attorney, District Attorney, and District Judge. He also taught at St. Mary's Law School and authored two books for law enforcement officers. The couple have three children, three grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

Interview with Waynne Rogers, a rancher from Harper, TX near Kerrville. Rogers talks about family, his work ranching and shearing sheep and goats, his past education at Tivy High School and undergraduate metallurgical engineering degree, and different positions he held as an engineer.
