Data collected on air breathing development in the bristlenose pleco. Bristlenose plecos breath air with a highly vascularized stomach when exposed to aquatic hypoxic conditions. This study looked at the development of this behavior and when the fish fist began to breathe air.

Thyroid hormone manipulation influences development of endothermy and hatching in white leghorn chickens (Gallus gallus)
Data collected on metabolic rates, body temperatures, morphology, plasma T3, and hatching of developing chicken embryos and hatchlings. To understand the role thyroid hormones play in hatch timing and development of thermogenic capacity and metabolic rate plasma thyroid hormone levels were manipulated in chicken embryos beginning at 80% development (day 17 of a 21-day incubation) with either a single dose of triiodo-L-thyronine (T3) or the thyroperoxidase inhibitor methimazole (MMI).

Bonism is a traditional form of worship involving rituals related to healing and the earth. Some Bon rituals are performed only by certain individuals (Bonpos). Bonpo Karma Wangdi demonstrates a ritual appeasement of Mamo (also known as Lamringbu). His wife and extended family are present because they have not seen this ritual performed for the last 15 years. Mr. Wangdi is the last known Bonpo in Chema village in the Trashi Yangste District of Bhutan. He also belongs to the first generation of Dakpa speakers who started speaking Tshangla in their childhood. Partial time-aligned transcription and translation into English.
