Hoihte Saihriem, aged 64, is a female speaker from Bahbahar village of Cachar district of Assam. She tells the story of a wicked lady who killed the wife of Sapinthei and later married her father. This wicked lady had a daughter named Mairangkoh. Together, they tortured Sapinthei and managed to kill her after she was married to a king.
