[Family Photo in Front Train Station]

Written below the photo are "T&P Odessa, Texas Station - This building was burned one night as the story goes the boys had a big poker game upstairs in the old Buchanan (Brown) Hotel. When the game was over about 3:00 am one of the boys challenged another to cut high cards with him to see who would burn the depot. It was never known for sure who lost. But the depot did burn - according to Paul Frame" and "Permian Historical Society #6027.14 (James Milton Frame Scrapbook)."

[Landscape View of Big Spring, Texas]

2 photographs of a landscape view of Big Spring, Texas. There is a small pen in the foreground. Written underneath the image are "Big Spring in the 1890's - This unusual view of Big Springs (as it was known then) was taken from the northwest slopes and includes the T&P shops to the right. The steeple of the courthouse, erected less than a decade earlier may be seen dimly in the centre. Some say the pens in the foreground were on a tract owned by the Earl of Aylesford and operated by his friend, John Birdwell" and "Big Spring Heritage Museum." On the back of the mat is a card with an image of Heneage Finch and a short description of his life, as well as a letter from Joe Pickle to a man named Don.
