Photograph of Palo Pinto County Courthouse in Palo Pinto, TX. The courthouse sits in an area enclosed by a brick wall, which separates the building from a parking lot that occupies the foreground of the photo, in which a single blue car is parked. The courthouse faces the left side of the photo and is made of orange bricks, with red tile roofing on the central part of the building. Green trees surround the walls of the courthouse, rising to the same height as the building's main three rows of windows. A fourth row of windows sits at the top of the central, taller section of the building which is topped by an A-frame roof covered in red tiles. The sections of the building on either side of the central portion sit at a lower height and have flat roofs without visible tiles. This entrance to the courthouse is set into the left side of the building, facing the left edge of the image, and is outlined with large orange stones.

Photograph of Stephens County Courthouse in Breckenridge, TX. A red brick road runs horizontally across the bottom of the photo while a sidewalk sits next to it, farther into the photo. A tall metal pole sits on the sidewalk near the left side of the image while two parking meters stand on either side of a short orange object with an upward-sloping top. The sidewalk connects to a walkway that cuts through the green grass surrounding the white courthouse, in which multiple tall bushy trees grow. A tall metal cross made up by two poles sits in the center of the walkway. The entrance to the courthouse has a short set of stairs leading up to three archways with dark doors in them. A row of dark windows extends from either side of the archways. Above this first floor of the courthouse are two more rows of windows set into white frames and divides vertically by white columns that rise across both rows, holding up a long pediment with the partially visible words "And peace administered alike" written on it. Above the pediment is a fourth row of windows positioned just under the edge of the building' s flat roof.

Photograph of Yoakum County Courthouse in Plains, TX. A paved, faded road divided by a double yellow line runs across the bottom edge of the image, its far side bordering the lawn of the courthouse. At the edge of the lawn, near the road, is a tree towards the left side of the photo as well as a fire hydrant and a streetlight towards the right side. Farther into the lawn, to the right of the streetlight, are two short blocks made of different materials and having small plaques set into them. Closer to the courthouse are sprinklers throwing water into the air, while green bushes and trees sit along the base of the building. A flagpole also sits in the middle of the lawn, flying the American flag. Photograph of Refucio County Courthouse in Refucio, TX. A paved street runs in front of the courthouse, which faces towards the right side of the photo. The courthouse building sits on a green lawn bordered by a sidewalk and a curb, with a few tall trees spaced apart from each other planted next to the sidewalk. Part of the sidewalk leads up through the lawn to the stairs of the courthouse, which lead up to its front doors. An overhang supported by rectangular columns shades the entrance to the building and has "Refucio County Courthouse" written above its front edge. The portion of the building at the level of the stairs to the entrance is made up red bricks bordered above and below by lines of white stone, while the rest of the courthouse is made of orange bricks. Additional liens of white stone line the top fo the entrance's overhang and the top edge of the building's flat roof.
