Postcard of a manilla-colored four story building obscured by a treeline. Stuart Hall's history is written as follows, "Stuart Hall is a new name given to the Virginia Female Institute of Staunton. It was founded in 1848, and is one of the oldest educational institutions for girls in the country. There are four massive buildings, surrounded by about four acres of beautiful land, located on an elevation of 1,450 feet above the sea level, and midway between the picturesque James and Shenandoah Rivers." The letter reads, "We reached here 7 this a. m. Write me soon with love, Sig." The postcard is addressed to "Miss Mamie McFaddin 1141 3rd Ave Huntington, W. Va."

The building is described as, "Gunter Hotel, San Antonio, Texas, completed in Fall of 1909 and acknowledged one of the most modern hotels in this country. Cost one million dollars." The missive on the back reads, "I said I was coming + here I am - Nell." The postcard is addressed to "Miss Mamie McFadden Beaumont, Texas."

Postcard of the Holy Angels Academy in Boerne, Texas, a two-story building with wrap-around porches on both stories. There is a small tower extending from the center of the roof of the building, with a cross-shaped spire at the top. There are a few short steps leading up to the first-story porch and the front door to the academy. There are several trees surrounding the building, obscuring much of the second-story. On the back, there is text written to Mrs. Engelke in San Antonio, Texas.

Legal contract describing work by an architectural company (C. D. Hill and Company) to furnish plans to the city of Dallas for a municipal building, to be located on Main Street between Harwood and Commerce streets, and to serve as the Dallas City Hall.

Official air patrol memo from 22 July 1928, containing report extracts from two air missions which took place the previous day over Nicaragua. The reports detail observations made on these flights of friendly troop movements, the populace, and one engagement between Marine Corps aircraft and Sandinista forces.

Official memo of the Fifth Marine Regiment regarding funeral services for Robert Stuart Hunter, Captain, USMC, who was killed-in-action on May 13, 1928. The funeral was conducted on May 23, 1929.
