Story of this fort, founded by General Sheridan in March, 1869, to aid in Indian management, located at the base of the Wichita Mountains. Accounts of Indian hostilities in the area, including work by Indian Agent Lawrie Tatum. Some of the names are: Satanta, Big Tree, Satank, Geronimo and Gen. William T. Sherman.
