It is stated that Lee Harvey Oswald and Jack Ruby discussed a plan to assassinate the governor of Texas. Ruby was going to pay Oswald to shoot him.

Kantor describes the shooting of Lee Harvey Oswald and states that he knew Jack Ruby but did not see him prior to the shooting. He also states that when he saw Ruby at Parkland Hospital he seemed very upset.

Report to Chief J. E. Curry by J. H. Sawyer concerning a radio interview with Eva Grant, sister of Jack Ruby, by Joe Long of Radio Station KLIF on Sunday, November 24, 1963. Grant stated the she did not want anyone to blame the Dallas Police Department, and that she thought her brother had gotten a press pass somehow and went momentarily insane when he shot Oswald.

Report to Chief J. E. Curry by O. A. Jones concerning an interview by Joe Long of KLIF Radio with Eva Grant. Jones states that Grant's interview was approximately three and a half hours and that she did not allow a record of the entire interview but allowed a recording of a prepared speech. Jones states that he questioned Long regarding the reasons Grant gave for believing her brother Jack Ruby had a press pass, and Long stated that she described an incident at the State Fair of Texas where Ruby had some kind of "Operations" pass that granted him admission.
