[Construction of Cooper Creek sewer outfall line]

A crane is placing cement piping into place during the construction of the Cooper Creek sewer outfall line behind Millpond Drive. Tex-Con Utility Contractors of Garland was in charge of the operation. The line ran within the city limits and was two miles long, following Cooper Creek. Construction began in 1965 and the new sewer line was in operation by January 1967.

Denton Fire Station No.4 at Kings Row and Sherman Drive Under Construction

Construction of the fire station at 2116 E. Sherman Drive. The walls have been put up, but the roof has only been framed. A shirtless man is inside of the building to the far left working and construction materials dot the yard outside of the station. Denton Fire Station No.4 was designed by the Mount-Miller Architects of Denton, Texas.
