According to the document Edward furnished the money for which the land was originally acquired; this document was meant to "furnish ample evidence to said Edward B. Leigh of his rights in the premises, to fully and effectually establish his ownership to all of said property."

Bonnell are "without valuable consideration in law and are fraudulent" and the lands mentioned in the deeds should be "sold and foreclosed."

Consul from Tampico, Mexico, acknowledges that Florence J. de Ganahl "acknowledged such instrument to me to be her act and deed, and she declared that she had willingly signed..." Also included is the envelope in which this document was mailed in; it has text that describes the deed inside.

Leigh paid $4,500 for the land "known as survey No. 38 in section No. 2," and the rest of the paragraph details the location, and borders of the given piece of land. The last sentence of the deed states: "The total amount of land intended by this conveyance to be conveyed, is five hundred and forty acres, more or less."

Deed prepared in accordance with the decision in favor of George M. Taylor vs. J. P. Campbell with the decision coming down on April 3, 1900 and a Decree of Sale "commanding [John Vann] to seize and sell the premises described in said Order of Sale." The land, known as survey number 680 containing 160 acres, was put up for sale and was purchased by Edward B. Leigh of Chicago, Illinois for $575 thus giving him the rights to the land.
