Postcard of a man wearing a red tunic, dark pants and hat, and white tunic standing in a field with a woman in a red dress and red hat wearing a white apron. Both of their heads are bowed in prayer, a basket sitting on the ground between them, with a laden wooden wheelbarrow set beside the woman and a pitchfork stuck in the ground beside the man. The letter written on the horizon reads as follows, "My dear Mamie, Did you get home safe? My address is 1225 E. Ave. Huntington. Good bye." The postcard is addressed to Mamie McFaddin 1316 Calder Ave. Beaumont Texas."

Vines grow along the left side of the porch, and low, wire fencing surrounds the house. Text on the back of the card reads "How is latin? I like it fine out here, tho' it is already very cold. Snowed yesterday! nearly all day. Give my kindest regards to all of the teachers, there that I know. Tell Jennie "hello." Minnie Elliot." The card is addressed to Miss Annie Forsgard of Waco.

Embossed color postcard depicting a cupid dragging a string with red hearts and arrows behind him. Stamped envelopes float above his head; handwritten notes on the envelopes say "Miss R.L. Dill Okla City", Mrs. Alice Dill Okla C-Okla.", and "Earl Dill, O.C.O." Correspondence on the back reads, "Pap was not quite so well yesterday. I guess he has taken a fresh cold but I haven't seen him today as he was not awake when I left. He's not much sick just can't get over the grippe. What her doing did her get her valentine. Postcard with a photograph of a burning building in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The note on the back of the card says that this was the H. W. Johns-Manville Co. fire that killed six people: "1 ass't chief, 1 lieut., 4 pipemen." The photograph shows a number of firemen rushing to the scene with snow falling all around them and at least five high-pressured water streams shooting towards the building.

Postcard from Rose Chamberlin to Junia Roberts Osterhout. The front has a photograph of a court house in San Angelo with a smaller, older photograph of the building in the upper right corner. The newer building is made out of stone and has tall, arched windows. There is a clock tower in the middle of the building. There are trees around the base. The older version of the courthouse is a small, wooden building with one window in the front. On the front and back, Rose wrote about what she had been doing recently.

Postcard from Rose Collins to Harry Bahl, concerning accidents taking place at her house in Nebraska. The photograph on the card shows a man peaking under a woman's umbrella. This card is the third card in a set of six sent by Rose to Harry and is entitled "Temptation." The back of the card has a note that reads: "had several minor mishaps, such as stepping on the baby and knocking her down occasionally and about taking the wheel off her go-cart."
