Message from Joaquín Vidal de Larca saying that José Francisco Rodríguez de Aguilar is expelled from the province. de Larca goes on to say that, should he return, de Aguilar is not to be employed and is to be arrested. The document is signed by local Spanish officials in the towns and villas acknowledging their having received and passed on the message.

Announcement from Joaquín Vidal to Spanish officials saying that the Conde de Balveder is allowed to leave Carthusian monastery, cleared of all suspicion, and may return to military action. This announcement is signed by Spanish officials, acknowledging their having received this from de Larca.

Notice from Manuel de Iturbe saying that Antolín Orbaneya is wanted for killing Ramos de Tributos. The document is heavily stained, and signed by local officials acknowledging their having received and passed on the notice from de Iturbe.

Message from Manuel de Iturbe and Felix Calleja saying that command of the brigade in Reino de Santander passes to Colonel Ignacio García Revallo. The document, which is slightly frayed, is signed by local Spanish justicias in the towns and villas acknowledging their having received the message.

Announcement from Manuel de Iturbe to Spanish justicias saying that Principe de la Paz has been named Almirante General. The document is signed by local Spanish officials, from towns listed on the left side of the front page, acknowledging their having received the announcement.

Message from Manuel de Iturbe to Spanish justicias saying that he is sending a decree from the new viceroy. The document is signed by local Spanish officials acknowledging the fact that they have received and passed on the message from de Iturbe.

Announcement from Manuel de Iturbe to Spanish justicias saying that war has been declared against England, and orders on shipping, etc. The document is signed by local Spanish authorities acknowledging they have received the notice and passed on the word.

Collection of thirty-two decrees and communications from Viceroys Felix Berenguer de Marquina and José de Sturrigaray, mostly copies made in 1802 and 1803. Most of the documents are badly torn around the edges and have stains, and holes on the pages.

Message from Viceroy José de Iturrigaray saying that Juan José Pinto is in charge of the Real Asiento de Alumbres for five years. Also included is a letter from Governor Iturbe sent to towns across Mexico, and signed by Spanish officials in those towns acknowledging their having received the correspondence.

Complaints from the citizens of Laredo concerning inaccurate measuring of lands; the citizens ask for these problems to be rectified. The document is signed by Laredo officials acknowledging receiving the statements from the citizens.

Copied message from Manuel de Iturbe saying that French General D. Alviman should be allowed to travel to Mexico City, if he were to arrive in the Internas Provincias. The document is signed by local Spanish authorities, acknowledging their having received the notification.

Copy of an order from Silvestre Diaz de la Vega to the citizens of Laredo prohibiting the sale of cigarettes and cigars in the stores, but may be given as "pilon."

Copy of an official communication from Nemesio Salsedo giving notice that troops from Laredo and a large group of Lipans attacked Comanches. According to the rest of the document Salsedo requests that proper dispositions be taken to prevent further attacks and maintain peace with Indians to the North and West.

Message from Esteban Grande to the governor saying that he lent 280 pesos to Santiago Flores, was not repaid and wants something to be done. Other communications appear on the document from other individuals.

Correspondence between José Cadena and José Ramón Díaz de Bustamente attempting to straighten out a debt that is currently fourteen years old. The document has three seals stamped on the front page, and has slightly frayed edges.

Letter from Josef Arango to officials in Santa Maria with a criminal case against Bentura Gonsales for the killing of Ysidro Garcia. According to the case Gonsales escaped prison on February 15, 1797, and his apprehension is ordered. The document itself is badly stained and has frayed edges.

Message from Manuel de Iturbe with a listing for José Barrera, who is wanted for money fraud. Included is a description of the man and signatures from local authorities acknowledging their having received the notice from the governor.

Debt agreement between Victorino Dovalina and José Rafael de Trevíno, signed by both men. The document itself has pieces of tape covering the top and bottom edges, as well as the center of the paper.

Document signed by Manuel de Iturbe, and local Spanish officials, possibly a decree concerning sending children back to Spain to be educated. The document itself is badly torn and stained; the first page is missing large portions of the bottom and top of the page.
