The brush on the land was aerial sprayed with 2-4-5T at the rate of 2 pounds per acre in May of 1958. This range has been controlled grazed to allow the grasses to become established. OK-624-3.

Some of the walls are still standing and are in fair condition after nearly 100 years. This type of sod no longer exists. It has been destroyed by plowing for farming, over-grazing and erosion.
