"Dedication Held at Fort Washita", Daily Ardmoreite June 23, 1965, by Mac McGalliard. Report on the ceremonies held at the fort. Rain delayed the program somewhat, but events took place as planned. A cannon from Ft. Sill marked the event by firing salutes, and the 77th Army Band performed a concert. Speakers at the fort, and the banquet in the evening, are reported.
