Letter from John C. Brewer to Emma Davis. The first part of the letter is dated May 18, 1879, and the second part is dated May 19, 1879. The first part discusses John being ill, a barbecue John and Emma attended, and mutual acquaintances. The second part discusses John feeling better, and a "singing" he went to.
