Handmade booklet tied with string on the left side. The cover is of dark green, heavy, textured paper with the title and an image of a flower printed on the front. Written in ink at the top of the cover is the name Mrs. Sims McCutchan. The sixteen pages within the cover are typewritten and list the club's officers, members, and dates and subjects of the year's meetings.

Color halftone postcard showing the Harrison County courthouse in Marshall, Texas. The Confederate monument stands in front of the courthouse and a tree is on either side of the courthouse. The printed caption on the back of the card notes that the building was used as the county courthouse from 1900 till 1964 and served as Historical Museum since 1965. [Home of the Governor of Missouri during the Civil War 1863-1865]
Photograph of a two-story hipped-roof house with wood siding that served as the Missouri Governor's house from 1863-1865 during the Civil War. The Governor rented it from Mrs. Mary Key. It was located at 204 East Crockett St. Architectural details indicate that the house was expanded and updated after the Civil War, later in the 19th century. Inscription in ink on the back of the photograph states: "Home of the governor of Missouri during the Civil War 1866."

Photograph of the house at 305 South Grove St., Marshall, Texas, taken in the 1930s by photographer Julian Barnes for a project of Mrs. Johnnie McCutchan. It is a two-story side-gable house of five bays with a two-story portico with four columns. Three dormer windows are in the roof. In the book "Hsitoric Marshall Revisited" by Edward W. Plummer, it is identified as the Fletcher Home, built in 1929 from the remains of a two-story house demolished by Henry McGee.

Photograph of the Fry-Barry house, 314 W. Austin St., Marshall, Texas, built between 1853 and 1861 by Fidel Bircher, designed by architect W. R. D. Ward. It is a Greek Revival style raised cottage, with brick lower portion and wood siding on the main floor. A 1920s automobile with a canvas top is parked in front of the house. This photograph is one of a small series taken by photographer Julian Barnes for a project of Mrs. Johnnie McCutchan. Written on the back by Mrs. McCutchan: "Home of Cousin Pammie Barry, W. Austin, Marshall, Texas."

Photograph of the Starr Family home, also called Maplecroft, that was built by Frank Starr in 1871 on West Travis St., Marshall, Texas. It is a two-story, side gable, house, with wood siding and one central dormer with two arched windows. A white picket fence with a decorative wood gate and gateposts stands in front. A one story porch with simple square posts spans the facade.

Color halftone postcard showing the T. J. Taylor store in Karnack, Texas. Taylor was the father of Lady Bird Johnson, wife of President Lyndon Johnson. The view shows a 19th century two-story brick commercial building with later additions on three sides. The building is not in good condition and does not appear to be in use. A sign on what appears to have been a gas station addition says, "T.J. Taylor, Dealer in Everything." There is no postmark or message on the back of the card. Business card for Arthur B. Chaffee, president of Bishop College in Marshall, Texas. On one side are black and white halftone photographs of buildings on the Bishop College campus: Marston Hall, Wolverton Shop, Bishop Hall, "The Mansion," and Morehouse Hall. On the other side is printed: "Rev. Arthur B. Chaffee, D. D., President." Written in pencil above Chaffee's name: "Nannie J. Brackens, Waxahachie, Tex @ home Olive, Tex." Bishop College was established in 1881 as a Baptist college for African Americans in Texas. The school moved to Dallas in 1961. The campus was sold the same year. Its buildings were demolished.
