Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI): DART Orange Line DFW Airport Extension IRVING-3 (open access)

Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI): DART Orange Line DFW Airport Extension IRVING-3

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), in coordination with the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), produced an analysis of the potential impact, to the environment and to the airport, of extending a DART line to the DFW Airport Central Terminal Area. The FAA's approval was needed for any change to an airport layout plan (ALP) and its report primarily deals with the effect of the extension on the airport. While there was determined to be no significant impact of the proposed extension, it would be necessary to relocate weather alert devises.

Green Line Before and After Study Plan (Revised)

This document represents a proposed outline for conducting a Before and After Study of the DART Green Line, a major extension of DART's light rail transit (LRT) system. Such studies track the costs and impacts of the extension of Red Line service into the North Central Corridor and analyze the accuracy of forecasts made during project planning. As the Green Line initially began as two separate planning corridors, the Northwest Corridor and the Southeast Corridor, this planned study replaced original planned studies of the two corridors.

North Central Corridor LRT Extension: Final Environmental Impact Statement

This report describes the potential environmental impacts and proposed mitigating measures associated with the construction and operation of an extension of the North Central Corridor light rail transit (LRT) system north of Park Lane. It compares the consequences associated with the locally preferred alternative (LRT) against those of a baseline "no-build alternative." This Final Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Northwest Corridor was written following the completion of a Draft EIS and subsequent 45-day public review and comment period and it includes responses to concerns raised during that period.

Northwest Corridor Light Rail Transit Line to Farmers Branch and Carrollton, Dallas and Denton County, Texas: Final Environmental Impact Statement (open access)

Northwest Corridor Light Rail Transit Line to Farmers Branch and Carrollton, Dallas and Denton County, Texas: Final Environmental Impact Statement

This report describes the transportation and environmental impacts and proposed mitigation measures associated with the construction and operation of a proposed Light Rail Transit Line from downtown Dallas to Farmers Branch and Carrollton. This project in DART's Southeast Corridor has been combined with the contemporaneous plan for an LRT line in the Northwest Corridor into a single, federally funded project, although separate Environmental Impact Statements (EISs) were prepared for each corridor. This Final EIS for the Northwest Corridor was written following the completion of a Draft EIS and subsequent 45-day public review and comment period and it includes responses to concerns raised during that period. Because the line would connect to Dallas Love Field Airport, the Federal Aviation Administration cooperated in the development of this report.

Northwest Corridor Light Rail Transit Line to Irving and DFW Airport in Dallas County, Texas: Final Impact Statement

This report describes the transportation and environmental impacts and proposed mitigation measures associated with the construction and operation of a proposed, 9.3 mile, double-tracked Light Rail Transit (LRT) line from a junction with the Farmers Branch / Carrollton Line north of Bachman Station to the vicinity of Belt Line Road and Valley View Lane in Irving. An evaluation of the planned extension of this line to the Central Terminal Area of DFW International Airport (DFWIA) is not included in this report, pending DFWIA guidance. Because the line would connect to DFWIA, the Federal Aviation Administration cooperated in the development of this report. This Final Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) was written following the completion of a Draft EIS and subsequent 45-day public review and comment period and it includes responses to concerns raised during that period.

Re-evaluation of DART Orange Line DFW Airport Extension Irving-3 Environmental Assessment: Final

This report represents a re-evaluation of the environmental impact of DART's Orange Line DFW Airport Extension following modifications made to the proposed project after both the FAA and FTA had issued a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI). The purpose of this report was to determine if the modifications might result in environmental impacts not previously not documented in the earlier environmental assessment, in which case the FONSIs would remain valid. Some modifications to the rail alignments were made to avoid the need to relocate FAA infrastructure, to eliminate bridge structers that could impact flight safety, and to provide enough space for future roadway expansions.
