Blackburn advises of the background and unusual situation of a subject from the Taylor County Jail and requests supervision by Williams after the transfer of Subject from Taylor County to El Paso County into the custody of her son. Additional correspondence typewritten at the bottom of page is written to T. N. Carswell by Ruby Blackburn which requests that he transfer his file on Subject to Mr. Williams.

Carswell requests that Allen Carswell destroy this letter after reading whether or not he sees fit to use the suggestion in whole or in part. T. N. expresses his enjoyment of their last visit confiding that he felt they were more like brothers than ever before. He offers options for Allen regarding the land handed down to Allen from their mother.

Carswell advises that Christmas time made him reminisce then advises of the number of acts of friendship and helpfulness of their Dads in the tasks he was privileged to carry on. He pays a tribute to Bill, Jack and George for the really fine and outstanding way that they have carried on the business operations left in their care.

A letter written to Bill Fulwiler from T. N. Carswell, dated December 23, 1957. Carswell advises Bill due to Christmas making him reminisce that he wrote to expresses his appreciation for W. J. Fulwiler, Bill's father, for his friendship and leadership in the building of Abilene during the years Carswell served [at the Abilene Chamber of Commerce]. He commends Bill on the exemplary way that he and Harry have carried on the multiple interests of W. J.

Carswell requests a supply of Monthly Report forms, advises of his exhausted supply and the reason, therefore, of his request that they accept this monthly report on parolees on regular paper.

Carswell explains his interest in Subject 60841-2, a prospective parolee, as resulting from a conversation with Subject's mother and information from other sources regarding the family. He advises that he will accept the supervision if the Board allows the subject to transfer to Texas. Notes include addresses for North Carolina Board of Parole.
