Volume one of a historical scrapbook for the Woman's Wednesday Club in Fort Worth, Texas. The scrapbook contains photographs, newspaper articles, and other materials related to the club's early activities.

Land deed from G. E. Bushong, A. E. Bushong, J. L. Morehead and E. H. Morehead to Zebulon Jenkins and J. E. M. Yates agreeing to sell a tract of land in Grapevine, Texas for $1,000 paid by Jenkins and Yates. The deed gives Jenkins and Yates "one half undivided interest" to the land; the following paragraph describes the perimeters of the land including in the purchase.

Photocopy of Carl John Nelin's declaration to become a citizen of the United States, his statement of birthplace to be Nenike, Sweden, and his renunciation of allegiance to a foreign power, in particular the King of Sweden, along with the district clerk's certification and official filing information.

A partial list or Manifest for the S.S. ADRIATIC, signed by J. W. Jennings, Master, after the ship arrived at the Port of New York, N.Y., on 1881-05-28 lists 29-years-old Carl J. Nelin as a steerage passenger along with many other Swedish emigrants and shows his occupation as "Laborer."

Land deed from James T. Murphy and Emma Murphy to R. A. Sale and Han Murphy for the "consideration of twenty dollars." The purchasers are elders "of the Church of Christ at Decator, Collin County," and the next paragraphs detail the perimeters of the land and the purposes of the land, that being "used for Church purposes."

Certificate of Declaration for Charles William Sloman as he was gaining citizenship to the United States. The opening line of the document declares that he "solemnly swear[s], that it is bonafide my intention to become a citizen of the United States, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any Foreign Prince..."

Certificate of Citizenship presented to Charles William Sloman in 1884. This certificate says that Charles has "appeared in open Court in the District Court of Galveston County...and applied to said Court to be admitted to become a Citizen of the United States of America."

Quit claim deed from George L. and Virginia Leigh to Edward B. Leigh involving the sale of a parcel of land "known as Survey No. 2 Abstract No. 1040." The land being sold is 640 acres and the payment for the land was $1,000 dollars.

Warranty deed prepared between Charles Schreiner and James Sellers and George L. Leigh in 1883. The deed specifies that the piece of land to be bought is the "tract or parcel of land known as Survey No. 1429."

Articles of agreement prepared "by and between W. D. C. Burney...and Edward B. Leigh of St. Louis Mo." This agreement was for the sale of a piece of land for the sum of four hundred dollars; W. D. C. Burney promises to "make and deliver to the said E. D. Leigh, a good and sufficient deed."

Warranty deed prepared for W. D. C. Burney and Edward B. Leigh for the purchase of a piece of land for the sum of $1,280 paid by Leigh to Burney; the specified land being purchased was "known as Survey No. 3 for 640 acres of land."

Bill of sale from George L. Leigh to John A. Bonnell acknowledging the sale of land and 110 heads of cattle. The note goes on to say that this "transfer and Bill of Sale is made on the following terms and conditions to secure the payment of a promissory note for $782.66" from Bonnell, payable on May 1, 1887. The check included in the record is worth $716.66 from John A. Bonnell to Edward A. Leigh.

Bill of Sale document prepared between George L. and Edward B. Leigh; this sale was for a piece of land for which Edward paid four thousand dollars. Also included is the envelope that it was delivered in.

Warranty deed from George and Virginia Leigh to Edward B. Leigh for the purchase of a parcel of land in Kerr County, Texas. The deed specifies that Edward is paying $1,000 for the track "or parcel of land known as survey No. 1429" situated along Sunflower Creek, a tributary of the Guadalupe River.

Warranty deed prepared between George and Virginia Leigh and D. P. Slottery acknowledging the sale of land for one thousand dollars. The deed is signed at the bottom by the notary public, William D. Drown, vouching for the fact that all parties were in attendance.

Deed from James Sellers to George L. Leigh for the sale of "all my interest in that certain tract or parcel of land known as Survey No. 1429" in exchange for four hundred dollars paid by Leigh.
