Five large brick pillars and a large front porch are visible on the ground level. A trimmed hedge with a gate fronts the house. Large flowering trees are visible in the side yard at the right, and a large palm tree and another smaller tree and some bushes are visible in the front yard.

Four young men and five young ladies are gathererd along a road in a wooded area. The women are dressed in long white dresses and hats. The men are dressed in suits and boaters. One man, sitting on the ground, holds a large white box. The left-most woman holds a string to another long box, or perhaps a lease on an unseen pet. On the back of the postcard is written: "Summer 1914 on the road to supper" and "Lee McCaughn, W.R. Blocker, Evalyn Davidson, Elisha Meyers, Emma Webster, Henry Foster, Pauline Landrum, Paul Hayes, Sceu [?], Lucile Davidson".

On the back of the postcard is written: "To Tony, Laura, and the family, with love from Mark Anizan". In another handwriting is written: "Mr Tony Anizans brother".

The man on the right, identified as John Anizan, is standing with his right hand resting on the other man's left shoulder. Both men are dressed in two-piece dark suits with white dress shirts and bowties. Their jackets are open. John Anizan wears a pocket watch clipped to his jacket lapel and a pen or pencil in his jacket pocket. On the back of the postcard is written: "Dear Sister This Picture was taken when I come from worke Dont I look bored I got fired last night and put Back to work again Wel BYBY Wm. J. Wedell." The postcard is stamped "Savannah Photo Co. 24 E. Broughton Savannah Ga." It is addressed to Mrs. A. Pike Texas City Texas. The card is postmark stamped: "May 28 1913 5 - PM Savannah Ga." There is a letter on the back of the postcard addressed to "Henry" that refers to an attack that day on Nuevo Laredo by revolutionaries.

Postcard of the San Antonio Female Academy in San Antonio, Texas; according to information on the back, it was a boarding school in Westend (a San Antonio suburb). There are people on the sidewalks and lawn in front of the building. A letter on the back of the postcard is addressed to Master Henry Kahn from Mary.

Postcard postmarked January 6, 1926 of the Bender Hotel in Laredo, Texas. Several people are standing outside and there are automobiles parked on the street and on the hotel sidewalk.

Postcard of a typical thatch-roof home, common along the border area in Webb County around 1900. In the image, there is a dog sitting outside the hut which is surrounded by a wire fence. There is a note written on the back.

Postcard of a bridge across a river, labeled, "International Bridge over the Rio Grande, Laredo, Texas." Several unknown buildings are visible on either end of the bridge. There is a letter on the back written 3/3/1917 that says, "Wanted to get across this bridge but on account of Typhus Epidemic on other side could not do so. Will cross at Brownsville. Wish you were along." (The epidemic mentioned was in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico.)

Postcard featuring a photograph of the front of Hotel Iturbide on Calle Zaragoza in Monterrey, Mexico with mountains in the background as well as people and automobiles in the street. It was sent to Rochester, Minnesota with this handwritten text: "Sun. P. M. Dear Matt: arrived here yesterday (Saty.) leaving right now, the weather has been unusually cold. Laredo, on the border, had 2" snow the Mexican kids sure were having fun with it. So long, Mel"
