Clear glass axe or hatchet, made at the Libbey Glass Company display as a souvenir of the 1893 Chicago World's Columbian Exposition. One side of blade with relief inscription "World's Fair / 1893"; other side of blade with relief portrait of George Washington, and inscription "The Father Of His Country". Handle with relief inscription near base: "Libbey Glass Co / Toledo, Ohio."

This is a receipt from the Office of Collector of Taxes for Montague County to Levi Perryman, to acknowledge payment received for county and state real estate taxes for the year 1896.

A registry receipt from the Chambersville, Texas Post Office for registered letter number 2, received of C. B. Moore on January 6, 1896, and addressed to J. D. Shaw in Waco, Texas. The reverse side contains a message regarding the weather and other matters associated with farming.

A receipt for a one year subscription to The M'Kinney Democrat. C. B. Moore paid $1.00 for the subscription, which lasts from February 22, 1896 through February 22, 1897.

A bill from J. M. Wilcox & Son to C. B. Moore for a total of $40.54.

Receipt number 6734 for property taxes paid to Collin County on November 30, 1896. C. B. Moore paid $85.68 in taxes. The total value of his property was assessed at $8,160.

Letter from Teddie to Linnet Moore in which the author notes that they have not kept up their correspondence well and wishes she would come and visit. She tells Linnet about the new Methodist minister named Miller and two of his children.

Letter from J. M. Bryan to C. B. Moore that says the registered letter had returned and that no such office is in the state.

Letter from Alice Griffin to the Charles B. Moore family. She writes that she is unwell and able to do little but tend to the baby. She says that Florence Dodd is unwell and Florence and her husband Tobe are having a hard time financially. She describes her baby, Lillian Griffin. Included with the letter are swatches of fabric that she has used to make clothing.

Letter from Alice Griffin to the Moore family in which she up dates them on the health of her family and friends; going to Plano; fixing up an old buggy; and the choice of cloth for Lillian's cloak. She included swatches of the cloth in the letter.

The 69 men and women are seated or standing outside, while 11(?) are hanging out of or looking out of windows in the background. Photographic print mounted on card backing. Handwritten notes on reverse: "Mrs. Will M. Smith Frisco Tex. Spring of 1896", "312" and "Class 1896". The group is posed against the Normal Building, constructed in 1891 as the first permanent building on the NT campus. It stood until being struck by lightning in 1907, when it burned to the ground.
