Caption: "MOTORCYCLE CRUSHED IN COLLISION WITH TRUCK; RIDER LANDS IN HOSPITAL; A truck-motorcycle collision Tuesday morning at NW 21 and Western injured one man and made mincemeat out of his motorcycle. Police said the cycle was jammed beneath the rear wheels of the truck and carried 25 feet across the intersection. Hank Schmidt, police accident investigator, is shown examining the wreckage. The cycle rider, Joseph Wright, 29, of 1110 1/2 NW 42 was thrown clear in the crash, but Mercy hospital attendants said he received facial lacerations and possible fractures of both legs. The truck was driven by Arthur Cecil Chew, 34, of 16 SW 11."
