She talks about her work with the church and school in the area and how at one point the garden that she grew produced a 17.5 pound sweet potato. She also mentions her time as a teacher in the Eanes area and the frequency of which entire classes would not show up to school. At the bottom of the page there is a typed recipe for "Mrs. Johnson's unbaked cookies" as well as handwritten text that seems to be listing out the names of other families who lives in the area.
