Funeral program for Mr. Harry F. Gaines, born November 28, 1925 and died June 7, 1987. The funeral was held June 10, 1987 at Sanford Chapel United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Antone Dykes. Funeral arrangements were made through the Lewis Funeral Home and he was buried in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery near San Antonio, Texas.

Letter from Congressman Henry B. Gonzalez to Jeffrey Simpson congratulating him on acceptance of his appointment to the United States Military Academy at West Point. Also included is a signed certificate indicating Simpson's acceptance of his appointment. There is a small piece of paper attached to the front of the letter with a note from Thelma Andrews, a member of the San Antonio chapter of The Links, Inc. addressed to chapter president Margaret Winn. Both the letter and certificate of acceptance are photocopies.

Program for a mini-workshop held at Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School on March 10th, 1987. The workshop, titled "Project LEAD: Back to Basics and My Extended Community Family," was hosted by the Links Incorporated San Antonio Chapter and the Martin Luther King Student Council.
