Christian advises Gordon regarding a monthly report and the recommedation for Final Discharge for Subject 17095. Typewritten at the bottom of the page is correspondence from B Christian [Betty Christian] to Mr. Carswell expressing her appreciation for his letter of recommendation for the above Subject and for his assistance.

Carswell requests the reinstatement of the parole status of Subject 108,345 to the date established prior to its revocation. Carswell explains his recommendation while detailing the parole history and the apparant "about-face" of Subject.

White expresses his appreciation for the letter of December 21 from Carswell in which he had enclosed a letter from Warden Swenson. He explains the decision of the Board regarding the reason Subject 108,345 must return to the Texas Prison System to continue his service.

A letter written to Mr. T. N. Carswell, Abilene, Texas, from Allan Shivers, Governor, Austin, Texas, dated March 11, 1953. Shivers expresses his appreciation for the letter from Carswell and for his ideas. He informs Carswell about the Texas Research League, a privately financed organization, its primary purpose to compile facts and figures along the lines Carswell mentioned and the work proposed relative to a restoration of proper relations between the national and state governments on tax and fiscal policies.
