Photo-postcard of buildings in Caddo Lake State Park. A central building of stone masonry with a large chimney has log cabin wings on both sides. These buildings were constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) in the 1930s according to designs by Joe W. Westbrook and Fred R. Carpenter. A handwritten note on the back is addressed to Mrs. Rosalie Newcomb in St. Louis, MO. It is postmarked Marshall, Texas, Aug 20, 1939.

Jerusalem Baptist Church, Marshall, Texas

Black and white photo-postcard of the Jerusalem Baptist Church in Marshall, Texas, taken sometime in the 1940s. The one-story brick building with basement has a central entrance tower with a hipped roof, which projects from a front gable-roofed main section with a side gable section behind it. It is a simple, unornamented building, except for the round arched entrance with three rows of corbelled brick surrounding the doors and two square pillars on either side of the entrance supporting lamps. The church is built on a slope, which allows for "basement" rooms beneath the back part of the building. The windows appear to be casement windows, and one in the back wing is partially open. A metal frame perpendicular to the road holds a sign with information about the church, but the text is not readable due to the angle. The back of a small house is visible behind the church. St. Joseph's Church, Marshall, Texas

Black and white photo-postcard of St. Joseph's Church in Marshall, Texas, taken sometime in the 1940s or early 1950s. The Mission style church building has a tower on either side of the entrance facade, with the one on the left being taller with a bell tower. The entrance doors are obscured by branches, but a statue of St. Joseph stands in a niche above the central entrance door. A residential-scale side-gable building with dormers to the right of the church was probably the rectory. There is a small cross above its front gable entrance porch. Trinity Episcopal Church, Marshall, Tex.
