There is a small piece of paper attached to the front of the letter with a note from Thelma Andrews, a member of the San Antonio chapter of The Links, Inc. addressed to chapter president Margaret Winn. Both the letter and certificate of acceptance are photocopies.

They have agreed to hold the concert on March 27, 1966, and she has enclosed a check for $100 to validate the contract. Per their contract, the chapter will pay him another $200 at a later date.
