[Memorandum from Louise Q. Lawson to All Chapter Presidents and Members - May 1, 1980]

Memorandum from Louise Q. Lawson to chapter presidents and members of The Links, Inc. discussing the financial state of the organization in 1980-1981. Due to inflation, Links will run a substantial deficit for the year, and action must be taken to avoid running deficits in subsequent years. Lawson proposes increasing fees, dues, and fines for members to raise the necessary revenue to keep the organization from going bankrupt. She is presenting a budget and finance report to all members so that they can discuss appropriate measures. Includes statement of current assets, statement of income, actual and projected expenses for 1979-1980 and 1980-1982, summary and comparison of budget percentages, and information about the national assembly.
