Communication Skills for the 21st Century

Dysphoric History: A Trans/Historical Approach
Video recording of a presentation by Dr. Gabrielle M.W. Bychowski which unpacks how dysphoria has been an organizing pattern within trans literature since the premodern period, predating the adoption of the term within the modern medical sciences, and she emphasizes the need for critical trans literary and historical theory to better identify and analyze trans history and narratives that have been silenced in archives. Interview with Bette Graham, inventor of Liquid Paper and founder of the Liquid Paper Corporation, which has since been sold to the Gillette Company. The interview includes a speech given by Bette Graham before the New Enterprise Club on March 9th, 1977 as well as a previous Oral History interview conducted on May 10th, 1969 and an Oral History interview on August 3, 1977. Additionally, there is a speech that was given to the Rotary Club at the Baker Hotel. Finally, there is a clip from the Dallas Morning News from May 14th, 1980 regarding the death of Bette Graham.

He was part of the Texas National Guard, 36th Division, 131st Field Artillery, 2nd Battalion, also known as the "Lost Battalion." He was captured on the island of Java in March of 1942 and spent the duration of the war thereafter as a prison of war in camps in South East Asia and in Japan.

Did Anything Good Come Out of the Pandemic? COVID-19-Stress Induced Self-Regulatory Sustainable Apparel Consumption among the Millennials in the U.S.
Authors of the article proposed and tested a conceptual model delineating the relationships between COVID-19 stress, commitment to the environment, and intentions for sustainable apparel consumption in terms of intentions for purchasing sustainable apparel and divesting apparel. The authors recommend the sustainable apparel brands and marketers promote how sustainable apparel consumption can protect the environment to make the environment and human beings less susceptible to the future outbreaks of pandemics.
