Recording of Nikos Stavropoulos' Atropos. The title of this work references one of the Moirae (the Fates) and metaphorically indicates the acousmatic processes involved in the work's composition. While the title is not directly related to the content of the composition, it was chosen to reflect the processes and their relation to the materials. The recording included has a stereo version as well as individual tracks for 6 speakers.

A Romance of Rust

Recording of Antonio Ferreira's A Romance of Rust. The composer states that rust can be seen as a metaphor for time's arrow or a well-worn image about the perceived flow of time in music. The decay of materials correlates to the decay of sound objects and gestures in our memory while we listen intentionally to some piece of music. This piece was commissioned by Miso Music Portugal.

Recording of John Young's Trace. This work presents an electroacoustically extended sound-image of the saxophone. Formally, the work was designed as a series of episodes that share sounds developed in different ways and dimensions. Recording of Ewan Stefani's Beginnings. The inspiration for this piece is the concept of denial and avoiding conclusions; rather than confronting, the focus here is upon description and observation. The voice guides the audience through a series of false beginnings that lead to another introduction, rather than a meaningful programmatic development. This piece was designed to represent discrete narrative or musical "voices" using speakers in the performance space. The pitched material is based on the first few passages of Purcell's "Dido and Aeneas".
