This home movie documents Afsheen Nomai and Laura Treat's trip to Big Bend National Park, Terlingua, and Marfa, Texas. The movie begins with footage shot from a moving car as they arrive in Alpine, Texas followed by footage of Sul Ross State University and the Maverick Inn. The trip continues and they drive through Big Bend National Park, stopping to camp in the Chisos Basin. Footage includes setting up camp, building a fire, and grilling steak. Nomai and Treat explore the park with stops at the Chihuahuan Desert Nature Trail, Boquillas Canyon, Sotol Vista, Santa Elena Canyon, and Old Maverick Road. They then arrive in Terlingua Ghosttown and explore the town including an abandoned building and cemetery. They then drive through Fort Davis and back to Marfa where footage includes the Hotel Paisano, the Marfa Presidio County Museum, a Donald Judd building, and the Palace Theater (Theatre).

Parade participants include Texas Isshinryu Karate Kai, Denton Institute of Phrenology Half-Fast Marching Band, Frack Free Denton, Denton Fire Department, Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 920, Denton Future Farmers of America (FFA), Beth Marie's Old Fashioned Ice Cream, Girl Scouts, Cartwright's Ranch House, North Texas Youth Football Association (NTYFA), DC Raiders, and the Cross Timbers Community Church. Following the parade, Treat and Nomai attend a community and family event at the Quakertown Park and Denton Civic Center and watch a live musical performance on the courthouse lawn. The movie ends with fireworks at Apogee Stadium.
