The footage begins with Elizabeth as a baby with her mother and father and includes a title card which reads " Dallas June 1946 (04:16). The film ends with Elizabeth celebrating her third birthday in 1946 (10:18). Also included in the film is footage of two unidentified women standing in front of a home on Hurst Street (03:40-04:16).

This home movie documents the Cochran family's road trip through Louisiana and Florida. Footage from Louisiana includes driving across the O.K. Allen Bridge, driving through Baton Rouge toward the capitol building with signs for the Dominique Stockyard and Diamond Ducks, visiting the capitol building and footage of the city from the tower, driving across the Huey P. Long bridge with a stop in an unidentified city and driving across the Long-Simpson bridge. Footage from Florida includes driving past the Highway Patrol sub-station, driving along the Florida Coast, stopping at Staff's Restaurant and Cafeteria in Fort Walton Beach, under-exposed footage of fish, an unidentified woman in a flower garden, a rail yard, an ocean picnic, riding on a boat labeled the "Jean Lafit," driving through an industrial area , an unidentified woman taking photographs, a city skyline, and a banana tree.

This home movie documents the daily lives and activities of Peter Pauls Stewart and Elizabeth May Exall Stewart with their oldest daughter Elizabeth Stewart Wally in Dallas, Texas. Because of damage to the film, only this brief excerpt was able to be digitized. Footage includes Peter and Elizabeth and unidentified family members posing with young Elizabeth on the hood of a car and also in front of an unidentified home.
