This hydrocarbon burner would embody a unique assemblage of component parts, whereby the liquid fuel is properly strained and vaporized, then air is admixed the the gaseous fuel or vapor. The mixture of air and vapor is discharged in a unique manner to support the flames. The construction is comparatively simple, compact and inexpensive in construction as well as being efficient and practical in operation.

Patent for an improved nut-cracking machine receiving-hopper and feeding-chute especially for pecans, but effective for any type of nut, "whereby the nuts are caused to assume a certain position to feed one by one in succession to the cracking mechanism and to then enter the cracking mechanisms in the appropriate positions. (p. 1, lines 26 -30). The improved machine also automatically adjusts for different sized nuts, including illustrations.
