Reconnaissance of the Chemical Quality of Surface Waters of the Nueces River Basin, Texas

Report on a survey of minerals and other chemicals, "to present available chemical-quality data and interpretations that will aid in the proper development, management, and use of the surface-water resources of the Nueces River basin. In the study, the following factors were considered: the nature and concentrations of mineral constituents in solution; the geologic hydrologic, and cultural influences that determine the water quality; and the suitability of the water for domestic supply, industrial use, and irrigation" (p. 2).
