The Rate of Solution of Some Transition Elements in Liquid Aluminum
A systematic study has been made of the kinetics of solution under steady state, dynamic conditions of titanium, vanadium, chromium, iron, cobalt, and nickel in liquid aluminum. The study was initially started in order to explore the feasibility of liquid-metal solution calorimetry for transition metals and alloys.
