"This invention... has for its principle object the production of a device which is adapted to be carried upon a manifold of an internal combustion engine... so that upon each stroke of the piston, or pistons, air will be drawn into the intake manifold where it will be mixed with gas passing therethrough, thus forming a charge which will have more power when exploded and which will prevent the formation of carbon deposits within the cylinders and which will also reduce the cost of operation of the engine." Patent for an airship with multiple gas bags inside an outer enclosing casing, which maintain the buoyancy of the airship in case one or more of the smaller bags should rupture. This airship also supports one or more persons other than the pilot, has an "envelop adapted to serve as a parachute in the event of danger", and can "alight upon and rise from the surface of a body of water".

Patent for a convertible writing desk that doubles as a cabinet for storing and displaying maps. Intended to allow multiple scrolled maps to be stored inside and easily displayed and retracted in classroom settings.

Patent for a candy and small object wrapping machine that automatically cuts, feeds, and positions paper, making use of a folding arm. Intended to significantly decrease time taken to wrap small objects by hand.

Patent for an artificial tooth that is better able to anchor to the mouth plate.

Patent for a windmill that makes it possible to convert the force of the wind into electrical or mechanical energy. This windmill has a governor that makes positioning adjustments when the windmill reaches an unsafe velocity.

Patent for a "well screen in which a maximum screening area is obtained without weakening the frame" (lines 11-13) including instructions and illustrations.

Patent for a machine gun, meant to have relatively few parts, that includes a belt to carry a large amount of cartridges. The machine gun "provides a structure wherein the cartridges are positively and consecutively fed to the explosion chamber" (lines 11-14).

Patent for "certain new and useful Improvements in Window-Sash Locks" (lines 5-7). "The object in view is to produce a simple and efficient device..., [which] consists essentially in the provision of means for permitting either sash to be locked or one sash to be partially or fully opened..." (lines 17-22).

Patent for an improved wheeled section harrow with a simple construction that provides a way to raise and lower the harrow sections as needed, and improves construction of the truck carrying the harrow.
