Illinois Governer Rod Blagojevich filed the lawsuit in Federal District Court on July 21, 2005. Basis of the complaint is the legality of the removal of the 183rd Fighter Air Wing from the Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport in Springfield, Ill as recommended in the DoD BRAC Report dated 13 May 05.
