Physiopathology of blood platelets and development of platelets substitutes. Progress report, August 1, 1976--October 31, 1977. [/sup 51/Cr]

Progress is reported on the following research projects: the effect of estrogen on platelet aggregability and thrombus formation; the antithrombotic effect of platelet inhibiting agents in a bench model of artificial kidney; the arrest of hemorrhage in severely alloimmunized thrombocytopenic patients; and in vivo elution of /sup 51/Cr from labeled platelets induced by antibody.
